India Meteorological Department Recruitment 2016 for 04 Administrative Officer Gr.I Post

India Meteorological Department (IMD) invited applications for the post of Admin. Officer Gr.I. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format within one month (02 May 2016) from the date of publication of advertisement.

Under IMD Recruitment 2016 a total of 04 posts are for Administrative Officer Gr.I Post.

Eligibility for Admin. Officer Gr.I.- Officers under the Central/State Government/ or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization:-i. Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parents cadre or department; or ii. With at least 5(five) years’ regular service in grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in post PB-3, Grade Pay Rs.5400 or equivalent, or iii. With at least 6(six) year’s regular service in PB-2 + Grade Pay Rs.4800 or equivalent,  With 7 (seven) years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts PB-2, Grade Pay Rs.4600 or equivalent, and (b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience as under:i. Degree of a recognized University/Institute ii. 5(five) years’ experience in Administration, Establishment, Accounts or Vigilance/Legal work in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/Statutory organization
