Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad anounced MBA admission notification for the year 2015. Admissions into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs for the academic session 2015-17 on the basis of valid Common Admission Test 2014 (CAT 2014) scores are being done at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.
CAT 2014 has been conducted on 16th November and the second day exam will be conducted on 22nd November 2014. Results are expected to be declared in January 2015, after whch admissions will begin.
ISM Dhanbad is a premier institute offering Master of Technology (M Tech) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management since 1977. The institute launched its All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved MBA program under the Department of Management Studies in 1997.

Eligibility Criteria:The candidates applying for MBA program at ISM must have a bachelor's degree after 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), which will be 45% for candidates under the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently-abled/Persons with Disability (DA/PWD) categories. For honors graduates the aggregate will include marks of both honors and pass papers. The candidates who are appearing for final year exams of their bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination may also apply. Preference will be given to candidates with first class in engineering degree or with postgraduate (PG) qualification in any discipline with first class.
Admission Process: The application forms will be available on the official website of the institute from Monday,15th December 2014. The last date for submission of the application forms with the fee through Demand Draft (DD) and relevant documents is Friday,27th February 2015. The documents as mentioned above needs to be submitted to the Assistant Registrar (Academics), Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad - 826004, Jharkhand.
Candidates who will be short-listed on the basis of CAT 2014 scores will be called in for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection process. The institute will not issue any letter to any candidate regarding attending the GD/PI rounds or regarding selection for the program. The GD/PI rounds are to be conducted on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
