Inland Waterways Authority Of India Notified Recruitment for 03 Executive Posts 2014

Inland Waterways Authority Of India (IWAI) invited applications for engagement of 3 Executives -- domain specialists/ consultants -- on short – term basis, initially for a period of one year, on contract as part of the Project Management Unit (PMU). Name of the Project: National Waterway- 1 (Jal Marg Vikas)

1. Executive: 3 posts

a. Marketing and Business Development: 1 post

Qualifications: Graduate with MBA and minimum 3 years experience in Logistics/ Market Research for transportation sector for creation of Infrastructure/ facilities and understanding of market demand and supply of commodities.

Candidates should be familiar with the working of State Government, Central Government and the World Bank

b. Finance and Accounts: 1 post

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum experience of 3 years and knowledge of Financial and Accounting procedures. 

Candidates should be familiar with the working of State Government, Central Government and the World Bank and be proficient in use of Tally Accounting software.

c. Civil Engineering: 1 post

Qualifications: Graduate in Civil Engineering OR AMIE with minimum experience of 3 years in construction/ designing and planning of Civil Engineering works of Infrastructure Projects (preferably waterway, irrigation, barrage, ports, or similar linear projects) and conversant with the latest engineering practices.  

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the candidate’s academic qualification, merit and experience in the related field and working knowledge preferably on World Bank projects.
