The Aam Admin Party (AAP), which has recently swept the Delhi Assembly polls have come up with a plan to build an Innovative Vocational University in the national capital so that the youth of the city could become employable and their talent, could get used in right direction.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia said the government would ensure that the youth of the state get full employment after they complete their vocational education from the university. The newly formed government also wants to make Delhi an education hub where there would be no unemployability. They want to change Delhi ‘revolutionarily’ and put a lasting effect for the people of Delhi.
Sisodia while addressing the CII Delhi State Annual Session said that they have now just Delhi Engineering college and will be having Innovative Vocational University.
Sisodia added that a person, who has left his education midway, can be able to take admission to this university and pursue a course. If he or she comes after sometime again, he will again be imparted vocational education and given diploma or certificate. There is need to think out of the box. Youths who are between 18 and 25 years, want to do some innovations. There is also need to give some space to them. Government aims to make job creators so that a chain of such persons can be built and then, more jobs will be created.
