Jaipur Becomes an Upbeat Educational Destination for International Students

    Jaipur is witnessing a new influx of International students to reputed Universities for internships and creating this locale as an International education hub. The city witnesses the grandeur of architecture across the time which enriches it as cultural capital.

    Prof. Dr. Victor Gambhir, President, JECRC University say the foremost reason of international students choosing Universities around Rajasthan is the capability of high quality research in technology like fluid mechanics, aero dynamics, brain wave technology, lean manufacturing, adhoc network, energy auditing & management, finite element analysis, human computer interface, robotics-heptic arms, cloud computing, solar astronomy,  5G technology etc.

    Mr. Chawal, student of Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, who is currently doing his internship at Department of Mechanical Engineering, JECRC University, says that Institutions who can deliver uncompromised quality research during the International Internship is one of the primary factors while deciding their institutions.

    Mr. Sulaiman, Sultan Qaboos University, Oman who is living in Jaipur for the past one week is excited in doing his internship at JECRC University and he says “I am enjoying my stay at Jaipur, people here and so affectionate and kind”.

    Dr. Naveen Hemrajani, HOD, Department of Computer Science, says “Before they travel for their internship, these students undergo serious research on the capabilities of the institutions and the department and then they even finalize the topic of research study and also interact with the faculty who would guide them, they do a whole lot of homework before the land for their internship”

    Destination Jaipur as a cultural destination is another fascination to select for their International Internship. They prefer to experience the cuisine, the arts and crafts, the forts, the architecture grandeur and very important shopping in the walled city of Jaipur says Rakesh Bhaskar, Vice President, CI&C Dept., JECRC University.

    The University student’s volunteers, handling the foreign students, are also trained to brief these interns and familiarize in cultural, political and other aspects of India.

    The University has acknowledged the role of International students being in the campus and have tailor made itinerary developed for industry visits, cultural nights, sightseeing tours to provide them an experiential learning environment during their internship.
