JEE Advanced-2015: Admit cards have been released

    The admit cards for the JEE Advanced-2015 examination have been released online at the official websites. The hall tickets were slated to be released on May 18th, however, the authorities made these available one day in advance, on May 17th, 2015. Candidates can now download their admit cards from www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in or www.jeeadv.nic.in. till 5 pm on May 23rd, 2015.

    To download the admit card, candidates need to access the link below or to visit the official website of the JEE Advanced-2015 and after clicking on the link for downloading the admit card, candidates will need to enter their application number, date of birth and registered mobile number & registered email-ID.  To submit the entered details, candidates will have to click on the “Login” button. For downloading the admit cards candidates will receive a message to download the admit card on the e-mail id or mobile number entered by them.

    Candidates are required to download and have a printout of the issued admit card. However before taking the print out of the admit card of JEE Advanced-2015, candidates must check all the details in it thoroughly. If error or errors are detected then candidates must inform the authority about it. Candidates can inform the authorities regarding any rectification of discrepancies in their admit cards from 10.15 am on May 18th, 2015 to 5 pm on May 20th, 2015.

    The date had been postponed thrice, initially the hall tickets were to release from May 9th to 12th, 2015, then it was changed to May 11th, 2015; from May 11th, the admit card download date was again shifted to May 15th, and later it was declared that the admit card of JEE Advanced-2015 will be made available from May 18th, 2015.  
    According to the official notification, the delay was caused due to the non-compliance of a large number of students in uploading the required and valid documents such as certificates, photographs, signatures etc.

    This year, approximately 13 lakh students appeared for the JEE Main examination. The students who have passed JEE Main are eligible for admission into NITs, CFTIs, SFTIs and IIITs, for the session of 2015. JEE Advanced-2015 will be held on May 24th, 2015. Candidates will write the exam in offline mode. The question paper will be presented either in Hindi or in English language, as per the request by the candidates during the registration. There will two papers under JEE Advanced-2015 it is mandatory to attempt both the papers. The questions will be of multiple choice and numeric type. The result of the exam will be announced till June 18th, 2015.
