JEE MAIN Tentative Counselling Schedule:
The JEE Main Counselling 2014 is conducted by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). The tentative dates and details of counselling have been announced, and eligible candidates will be invited to participate in the counselling process as soon as the all india ranks will announced.
The counseling will be online. There will be four rounds of seat allotment followed by a spot admission round. This will minimize the gap between the date of completion of counseling process and the date of starting of classes. There is a provision for fresh registration for candidates before the fourth and spot round for those who did not register before the first round. Candidates will pay their initial fees through electronic payment system only, i.e. e-Challan, net banking, credit/debit card etc. Candidates have the choice to choose the bank for initial fees payment as per their convenience. To facilitate counseling process, reporting/Help Centers have been set up across the country. Candidates are advised to choose the Reporting/Help Centre as per their convenience.

- All National Institutes of Technology (NITs)
- All Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs)
- 14 Centrally Funded/ State Funded Technical Universities and Institutes
- 32 Self-Financed Technical Institutes.
