Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: (as on 1 January 2013):
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 37 years
(Maximum age for SC / ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates is 40 years and for PH candidates is 39 years)

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Physical / Type / written test / Interview.

Details about the venue and date of the written test / Interview will be uploaded on the official Website of the Board www.jkssb.nic.in.

Candidates will be required to present all certificates in original for verification, during the Interview.

NOTE: There will be a single test for the posts of Drivers, Jr. Stenographers and Junior Assistants of various Departments.

How to obtain application form: The OMR / OBR / ICR format application form can be obtained by making payment of Rs. 400 per OMR form which includes examination fees also at any one of the 21 branches of J&K Bank Ltd. authorized for the purpose.

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates would be required to deposit the duly-filled in OMR / OBR / ICR format application form to the concerned receipt official of the Board till 16 November 2013.  

While depositing the form, they will be required to present all documents in original to the concerned receipt official of the Board for comparing. No photocopy of OMR form or certificates/documents is required to be deposited in the concerned offices of the Board.

However, candidates sending the filled-in form through Registered post would be required to enclose attested photo copies of all relevant documents / certificates along with the photocopy of duly filled in OMR form so as to reach the concerned office by the prescribed last date.

The designated offices for sending the duly filled in application form either in person or by registered post are:
(A) The District Employment and counseling centre’s of the concerned districts.
(B) In case of District Srinagar and District Jammu, the forms can also be deposited in the Divisional Offices of the Board.
(C) Offices of SDM Bani, Basholi, Dudu-Basantgarh, Karnah,Gurez, Tangdar, Zanaskar, Khaltsi, Drass, Nobra, Nyoma Tehsildar Marwah, Naib Tehsildar Inshan (Wardwan), BDO Dachhan for these areas.
(D) Candidates presently residing / working outside the State can deposit the forms in ‘The Office of the In-charge Migrant Cell, Residential Commissioner Office, 5, Prithvi Raj Road, New Delhi’.
