MACS – Agharkar Research Institute (ARI), Pune invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned Postsof recruiting Scientists in various Groups. The candidates eligible for the post may applyon or before 30 September 2014.

No. of Posts: 01 (One). 

2. Name of Post: “Scientist - C (Zoology Group)”

No. of Posts: 01 (One). 

3. Name of Post: “Scientist - B (Genetics & Geology Group)”

No. of Posts: 02 (Two).

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:

• Possess Master Degree in the concerned field from the recognized University.
• Ph.D in the relevant subject is desired.
• Required Experience in the relevant field.

Age Limit & Relaxation:

Age Limit for the candidates as on last date of receipt of application and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules (if applicable).

• For Post 1  :  50 years.
• For Post 2  :40 years.
• For Post 3  :35 years.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1  : Rs. 34,800/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,900/- Per Month.
• For Post 2  : Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/- Per Month.
• For Post 3  : Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (One Hundred only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “ARI, Pune”, payable at Pune.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test or in Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
