MAH-CET 2017: Exam Dates Announced for admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM 2017-19 batch

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has announced that MAH-CET 2017 is proposed to be held on 2 consecutive days on March 4 & 5, 2017. Last year, the exam was held on March 12 and 13, 2016 and the application process for the same commenced on February 12, 2016 till February 23, 2016. The entrance exam grants admission to MBA/MMS/PGDM 2017-19 batch in JBIMS Mumbai, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya and more than 400 other top B-schools. Whereas, the registration dates to apply for MAH-CET 2017 are yet to be announced.

The announcement of the proposed examination date has been made through the exam vide its notification no. State Cet Cell/Tech Edu.CET 2017/627 dated November 21, 2016. In this regard, Mr. Chandrashekhar V.Oak, IAS, Commissioner, State CET Cell, Mumbai of Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, Mumbai has also mentioned that “Following is the tentative schedule of the Common Entrance Tests (CETs) to be conducted by State CET Cell, Mumbai for the admissions to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate professional degree courses under Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Aspiring candidates may note that this is the tentative schedule and State CET Cell reserves every right to change the schedule under unavoidable circumstances. Detail and final schedule of each CET will be published from time to time with its activities schedule in selected newspapers and on the website www.mahacet.org and http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in.”

MAH CET Exam Pattern

MAH-CET is conducted in online mode and it is a multiple choices questions (MCQs) based test. Each question carries 5 options and time of 150 minutes is allotted to each candidate to answer 200 questions. The best part of MAH-CET exam is that it carries ‘no negative marking’ for choosing incorrect choices. In addition, the candidates will score one mark for every correct answer.
