MDI Gurgaon Summer Placement 2015 concluded with high stipends

MDI successfully completed the Summer Placements for the Class of 2015, comprising 293 students ‐ 234 enrolled in the flagship PGPM course and 59 students in the PGP‐HRM course. More than 120 companies participated in the process.

Sales & Marketing continued to be the most preferred profile with 48% of the students from PGPM course accepting profiles. The Consulting domain saw participation from companies like Avalon Consulting, Cognizant Business Consulting, Deloitte US India, TCS, Technopak and Wipro.

Number of companies offering the Operations and Supply Chain role also saw a substantial rise. While companies like Citibank, Idea, Metlife, SAP and Tata Steel continued their relationship, Aviva, Perfetti Van Melle, Procter & Gamble and Zovi also opened their operations role at MDI. Major Recruiters included Aditya Birla Group, Alcatel‐Lucent, Asian Paints, Atkins, Aviva, Axis, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, Godrej, GlaxoSmithKline, IBM Consulting, ICICI, Idea, KPMG, Nivea, People Strong, Pepsico, Philips, Reliance Industries Limited, Right management, RPG, Tata Motors, Tata Sons, Tata Steel, Vodafone and Wipro among others.

The highest stipend was Rs. 200000 for PGPM program and Rs. 150000 for PGPHRM program. Average Stipend was Rs. 100600 for the PGPM program for the 2015 batch.
