Ministry of Home Affairs Notified Recruitment to 51 Assistant & Constable Posts 2014-15

Directorate General Border Security Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs invited application for recruitment to 51 posts of Assistant & Constable. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in Employment News.

2. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Group-C: 45 Posts
3. Constable (Storeman) Group-C: 05 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1. Assistant Commandant (Logistics) Group-A: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Associate Member of Institute of Engineers; or MBA In Material Management from a recognized University or Institute: or Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute with one year’s Post Graduate diploma in Stores Management or Material Management from a recognized University or Institute.
2. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Group-C: (a) Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation; or (b) Group "X" Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force. Preferably two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course (to be prescribed from time to time).
3. Constable (Store man) Group-C: (i) Matriculation pass with Science or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. (ii) Must have two years working experience in Store or ware housing of any Government or Public Sector Undertaking or Autonomous organization or any company or private firm or Institution. (iii) Working knowledge in Computer or having prior aviation experience is preferable.

Age limit

1. Assistant Commandant (Logistics) Group-A: Upto 35 years
2. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Group-C: Upto 28 years
3. Constable (Storeman) Group-C: Between 20-25 years

Pay Scale

1. Assistant Commandant (Logistics) Group-A: Pay Band- 3, Rs. 15,600 -39,100 - GP Rs. 5,400/-
2. Assistant Aircraft Mechanic Group-C: Pay Band-1 Rs.5,200-20,200+ GP Rs. 2,800/-
3. Constable (Storeman) Group-C: Pay Band -1, Rs. 5,200 - 20,200 + GP Rs.2,000/-
