Ministry of Textiles invited applications for recruitment of 19 various posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 3 weeks from the date of publication of the advertisement. The Ministry of Textiles is responsible for the formulation of policy, planning, development, export promotion and regulation of the textile industry in India. This includes all natural, artificial, and cellulosic fibers that go into the making of textiles, clothing and Handicrafts.

Age Limit

• Assistant Director (EP & QA) Group A: Candidate age should not exceed 28 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Market Research Officer Group A: Candidate age should be between 25-35 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Field Officer Group B: Candidate age should be between 22-28 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Senior Statistical Assistant Group C: Candidate age should be between 22-28 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Quality Assurance Officer (EP & QA) Group B: Candidate age should not exceed 25 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Quality Assurance Officer (Lab) Group B: Candidate age should be between 21-27 years as on 31 January 2014.
• Upper Division Clerk Group C: Candidate age should be between 19-25 years as on 31 January 2014.

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Director (EP & QA) Group A: Degree in Textile Manufacture or Technology with 5 years experience.
• Market Research Officer Group A: Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics or Commerce or Business Management with 5 years experience.
• Field Officer Group B: Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Economics or Commerce or Business Management.
• Senior Statistical Assistant Group C: Graduate & Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics or Statistics with 2 years experience.
• Quality Assurance Officer (EP & QA) Group B: Degree/Diploma in Textile Manufacture or Technology or Diploma in Handloom with 2 years experience.
• Quality Assurance Officer (Lab) Group B: Master Degree in Science or Technology with 6 years experience.
• Upper Division Clerk Group C: Graduate Degree.

Pay Scale

• Rs.15600-39100/- + GP Rs.5400/- for post no. 1 & 2.
• Rs. 9300-34800/- + GP Rs. 4200/- for post no. 3, 5 & 6.
• Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2800/- for post no. 4.
• Rs. 5200-20200/- + GP Rs. 2400/- for post no. 7.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in test/interview.
