NCHM Notified for JEE – 2014 for Admission to B. Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHM) has invited online application from interested candidates for Joint Entrance Exam 2014 (JEE 2014) for admission to B. Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration for the academic session 2014-15.

Important Dates:

• Application Form Available Online: 05 December 2013 to  07 April 2014 (Monday)
• Application Form Available Offline: 23 December 2013 to  07 April 2014 (Monday)
• Last Date for receipt of filled-in form:  07 April 2014 (Monday)
• Availability of Admit Cards on NCHMCT website: 19 April 2014 (Saturday) (1400 hours) onwards
• Written Examination (JEE 2014): 26 April 2014 (Saturday)
• Timings of JEE 2014: 1000 Hrs to 1300 Hrs (3 hours)
• Result of JEE on website: 2nd Week of May 2014
• Conduct of Counselling: 1st week of June 2014
• Commencement of Academic Session: 28 July 2014

Course Name: B.Sc. In Hospitality & Hotel Administration (B.Sc. in H&HA) – (Jointly offered by NCHMCT & IGNOU)

Course Duration: 3 Years (6 Semesters, full-time)

Eligibility

Upper Age Limit:

• For candidates from General and OBC categories, upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2014. Candidates born on or after July 01, 1992 are eligible.
• In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2014. That is SC/ST candidates born on or after July 01, 1989 are eligible.
• Upper age limit for Physically Challenged candidates shall be reckoned as per the category he/she belongs to i.e. General/SC/ST/OBC.

Educational Qualification:

• Pass 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects. Candidate must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
• Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2014 on provisional basis.

Selection Procedure:

Admission shall be based only on marks obtained by the candidate in All India (Written Test) in NCHM JEE – 2014 / JEE-examination to be held on 26 April 2014.
