NICL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024: National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has released the assistant eligibility criteria 2024 along with the notification on the official website. Candidates applying for the announced vacancies must be at least 21 years old and must hold a bachelor's degree from the recognised university. If at any stage of the selection procedure it is found that the candidate has entered false information about their eligibility, then it will lead to the cancellation of their candidature.

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has started accepting online applications for the posts of assistants from eligible candidates on the official website from October 24, 2024. The A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. The candidates must have knowledge of reading, writing, and speaking of regional languages of the state/UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply.

NICL Assistant Age Limit 2024
The NICL Assistant age limit is an important parameter of the eligibility criteria. The candidates applying for the announced vacancies must be between 21 and 30 years old. Candidates born not earlier than October 2, 1994 and not later than October 1, 2024. However, relaxation in age will be given as per government norms. NICL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024: Educational Qualification
Another key aspect of the NICL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024 is educational qualification. According to the official notification, the minimum NICL Assistant qualification is a graduation degree from any recognised university.
The candidates must have knowledge of reading, writing and speaking of the regional language of the state/UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply. To ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the regional language of the State / UT, a regional language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the regional language test would be disqualified.
NICL Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024: Nationality
Apart from the required age limit and educational qualification, candidates must also fulfil the nationality requirement before submitting the online form. A candidate must be either
(a) a citizen of India,
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the
Government of India.
