NICL Assistant Exam 2015: Selection Procedure

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has invited application from candidates to fill up 1000 posts of Assistants in Class III cadre.  The candidates who want to apply for the position should know the selection procedure to get an idea about how the selection of a candidate is done.

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has invited application from candidates to fill up 1000 posts of Assistants in Class III cadre. The candidates who have not applied yet can apply for the posts on or before 30 January 2015.

The candidates who want to apply for the position should know the selection procedure to get an idea about how the selection of a candidate will be conducted. Below is the entire selection procedure written down.  Candidates applying for the post can take a look at it.

Selection Procedure

Al eligible candidates should apply before the last date for registration of application.

a. All candidates’ will have to appear for the online examination, thereafter; candidates will be shortlisted and will be called for Interview and Computer Proficiency Test.

b. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online examination, Interview and Computer Proficiency Test taken together. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for online examination/Computer Proficiency Test/Interview.

c) The particulars of online examination are detailed as under:-

Selection would be based on the performance in the on-line test & interview. The Final Merit List shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates, state wise and category wise. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment.

Please note that candidates will not be permitted to appear for the online examination without he following documents:

1. Valid Cal Letter for the respective date and session of Examination

2. Photo-identity proof (as specified) in original bearing exactly the same name and other information as it appears on the call letter/ application form and

3. Photocopy of the above photo-identity proof.
