National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (NITJ), also known as Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, is a public engineering institute located in the state of Punjab, India. It was founded with the name Punjab Regional Engineering College, Jalandhar (PREC) and as a joint venture of the central and the state governments.
The Institute comprises separate departments for Applied Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Bio-Technology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Humanities and Management, Industrial and Production Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Textile Technology. These departments offer various undergraduate and postgraduate courses while actively involved in research in their specific fields.
NIT Jalandhar admissions for MBA program 2014 is on the row. The counseling for NITJ MBA Admissions 2013 is going to be held tomorrow, i.e. on 17 July 2013. The aspirants are required to report at the venue --Dept. of Humanities and Management, Room No CE-7, Second Floor-- half an hour before the counseling start at 10 AM. The candidates who will fail to reach before 12 Noon will be considered absent and subsequently, the vacant seat(s) will be allotted to next candidate(s) in the row. Candidates please make note that the attendance in person is compulsory.
Along with the required Demand Draft, candidates must bring their original certificates and other proofs to establish their eligibility for age, education and category, if applicable.
First preference will be given to the candidates from merit list of CMAT + GD + Interview. In case the seats remain vacant in any of the categories, remaining allotment will be allowed to candidates from the merit list of NITJ Score + GD + Interview in the respective categories.
