National Power Training Institute (NPTI), Neyveli, Southern Region under Ministry of Power, Government of India issued notification announcing admission to 77 seats of Post-Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering -15th Batch (PDC-TPPE) for academic session 2014- 2015. The course aims to develop a pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to the Indian Power Sector. Interested candidates should send their applications along with fee DD and a passport size photograph to NPTI, Neyveli on or before 29 September 2014.

Course title: Post-Diploma Course in Thermal Power Plant Engineering (PDC-TPPE) (2014-2015)
Course Batch: 15th Batch
Total Seats: 77 seats
Course Duration: One year (2 semesters)
Course aim: to develop a pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment to Indian Power Sector.
Course Fees: Rs.135000 (in two installments) with applicable service Tax.
Course Eligibility: 3 years Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics.
Admission Procedure: Admission will be offered to the candidates on Merit basis -- on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in the Diploma course.
Application fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.700 is to be paid through a crossed DD drawn in favour of NPTI payable at Neyveli.
