Nursery admission Applications has gone up by 10% in 2013

    Parents readying their kids for nursery school may now face a little more competition. With increase in pre-schools set up in Gurgaon in the past two years, the admission applications by parents have gone up too, simultaneously.

    Source being Gurgaon, local school representatives, it has been observed, nursery admission procedure to have received 10 % increased application in 2013, and is increasing each year. At a point schools even halt accepting fresh applications for nursery admissions and focus on short-listing and reviewing the received ones to select kids for pre-school.

    Nearly 500 application were received by ‘Manav Rachna International School (MRIS) in Sector 46, Gurgaon’ as told by Dhriti Malhotra( Principal of MRIS), whereas, generally pre-schools have at most only 150 seats to offer.

    To make things convenient for parents, and to make the admission procedure unbiased, many schools have opted the policy of offering seats for nursery classes through draw of lots. Besides, Application applying and sending system has now been made online to support a fair selection process.
