Salary: Rs. 5200 per month

Type of recruitment:  on Contract basis

 Eligibility Criterion:

Age limit: (as on 1 January 2013)

Minimum: 20 years

Maximum: 32 years

(i.e. born between 1 January 1981 and 31 December 1992)

Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST / Women candidates, by 3 years for SEBC candidates and by 10 years for orthopedically handicapped candidates.

 Qualifications: Passed (10+2) Vocational exam with Agriculture oriented subjects like Horticulture, Crop Production, Sericulture & Farm Mechanic

 Candidates with (10+2) Science or Intermediate in Science can also apply.

 Other eligibility conditions: Candidate must be

Permanent resident of Odisha;

Able to speak, read and write odia;

shall have passed a test equivalent to Middle English School Standard in odia / ME standard with odia language;

must know cycling;

Should preferably come from rural area and a small and marginal farmer family;

 Selection procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidate fulfilling the required qualifications.

Candidates who have passed (+ 2) vocational course in Agriculture will be preferred and appointed in order of merit in the course.

Selected candidate will undergo in-service training in RITEs of the state.
