Officers Training Academy, Gaya invited application for recruitment of 8 different Posts.  The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format within 21 days of publication of the advertisement. OTA Gaya, raised in July 2011, is the third pre-commission training (PCT) academy of the Indian Army with a planned training capacity of 750 cadets. The aim of the academy is to train Gentlemen Cadets to become part of a professionally competent commissioned officer corps of the Indian Army.

Age Limit

• Candidate’s age must be between 18 to 25 years for LDC, Cinema Projectionist Grade-II, Equipment Boot Repairer and Washerman.
• Candidate’s age must be between 18 to 27 years for Storeman.
• Age Relaxations will be extended as per the rules.
  

Educational Qualifications

• LDC: 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English on computer.
• Cinema Projectionist Grade-II: Matriculation or its equivalent qualification with Diploma certificate in Trade.
• Storeman: Matriculation from a recognized Board with 1 year experience as a Storeman or Store Helper.
• Equipment Boot Repairer: Matriculation from a recognized Board and should be able to carry out all canvas, textile and leather repair and replacement of equipment and boots.
• Washerman: Matriculation or its equivalent qualification and must be able to wash civilian clothes thoroughly.

Pay Scale

• Rs. 5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/- for LDC and Cinema Projectionist Grade-II.
• Rs. 5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1800/- for Storeman, Equipment Boot Repairer and Washerman.
  

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test and Interview.
