Offline Fee Payment Procedure for CWE 2012

Ques. How to deposit fee through Offline mode for Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 to be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012 for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks?

Ans. Candidates applying for Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 to be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012 for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks have to apply online only, but they can deposit fee by either online mode or via Offline Mode.

For Offline Payment of fee i.e. through CBS, candidates have to first apply online, obtain a fee payment challan and then remit the necessary application fees. The fee has to be paid at designated counters of specified Bank branches. IBPS has chosen 7 nationalized Banks for the purpose of offline payment of fee. The banks are

1. Bank of Baroda;
2. Bank of India;
3. Bank of Maharashtra;
4. Central Bank of India;
5. Indian Overseas Bank;
6. Punjab National Bank;
7. United Bank of India.

The fee can be paid at the CBS branches of any of these seven Banks from 2nd working day after registration. The payment should be made within next three working days. System generated fee payment challan has to be used for depositing fee.

Once fee has been paid, the registration process is completed. Candidate will receive registration confirmation by SMS/e-mail after two working days from the date of payment of fees. Please ensure to furnish correct Mobile number / e-mail address to receive the registration confirmation.  

How to obtain System generated fee payment challan:

For obtaining the System generated fee payment challan for depositing fee, candidates should carefully fill the On-Line Application form and “SUBMIT” it. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates are required to note down the Registration Number and Password.
In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one go, he/ she can save the data already entered. A provisional registration number and password is generated by the system and displayed on the screen, on saving the data. Candidate should note down this Provisional registration number and password. They can use this Provisional registration number and password to reopen and edit the saved data, if needed. This facility will be available for three times only. Once the application is filled in completely, candidate should submit the data. No change/edit will be allowed after submission. The registration at this stage is provisional.

An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent at the mobile number registered by the candidate in the online application form. A fee payment challan with the Provisional Registration number will be also generated. Candidates should take a printout of this system generated fee payment challan for depositing the fee in the bank.

There is also a provision to reprint the submitted application containing fee details, three days after fee payment.  After completing the procedure of applying on-line including payment of fees through offline mode, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated on-line application form three days after fee payment, ensure the particulars filled in are accurate and retain it along with Registration Number and Password for future reference. They should not send this printout to the IBPS/ Banks.

Last Date to fill the online application form is 05 November 2012 and to deposit Application Fees through Offline mode is 09 November 2012.
