RBI Grade B Age Limit 2024
The age of the candidate applying for the posts should be between 21 and 30 years. However, there are relaxations for reserved categories like SC/ST, OBC, and PWD candidates, providing them with additional years of upper age limit. RBI Grade Educational Qualification 2024
Candidates applying for the vacancies must ensure that they meet all eligibility criteria and have completed graduation from the recognised university. The required educational qualifications also vary as per the post of the candidate. Check the list below
RBI Grade ‘B’ (DR) (General)
Minimum 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PwBD) or an equivalent grade in the bachelor’s degree as well as in the 12th (or diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters/years.
RBI Grade ‘B’ (DR) (DEPR)
A minimum of 55 per cent marks or an equivalent grade is required in aggregate of all semesters / years from a recognised Indian or foreign University / Institute with the Master's Degree in Economics (MA / MSc in Quantitative Economics, Mathematical Economics, Financial Economics, Business Economics, Agricultural Economics, and Industrial Economics)
OR
A Master's Degree in Finance (MA / MSc in Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Quantitative Techniques, International Finance, Business Finance, Banking and Trade Finance, International and Trade Finance, Project and Infrastructure Finance, Agri Business Finance)
RBI Grade ‘B’ (DR) (DSIM)
- A Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics/ Applied Statistics & Informatics with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years;
OR
- Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute;
OR
- Master’s degree course in Data Science/ Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning/ Big Data Analytics, with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognised University/Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme;
OR
- Four-year Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years in Data Science/ AI/ ML/ Big Data Analytics from a recognised University/ or institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme; OR
- Two years Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/years from a recognised University/ Institute, an institute of national importance, UGC/ AICTE approved programme.
RBI Grade B Nationality
To be eligible for the RBI Grade B exam the candidate must be:
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of
permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and
Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of
permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India
