Sainik School Nalanda, Ministry of Defence invited application for recruitment to Teaching Posts. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 15 June 2013. Sainik School Nalanda was established on 12 Oct 2003 and has been functioning in Zila Parishad Inspection Bungalow at Rajgir in Nalanda District of Bihar.

Age limit
Candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

Educational Qualification

• TGT (Social Science): Graduate with at least 50% marks & BEd/MEd
• PGT (Physics): M.Sc  in Physics with BEd/Med or 3 years teaching experience
• PGT (Chemistry): M.Sc  in Chemistry with B.Ed/M.Ed or 3 years teaching experience
• PGT (English): MA  in English with B.Ed/M.Ed or 3 years teaching experience

Application Fee

• For TGT: Bank Draft for Rs 300/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda payable at SBI, Rajgir (Code No 3499).
• For PGT: Bank Draft for Rs 200/- (Rs 100/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of the Principal, Sainik School Nalanda payable at SBI, Rajgir (Code No 3499).

Pay Scale

• TGT (Social Science): Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/-    
• PGT (Physics): Consolidated salary Rs.24000/- per month
• PGT (Chemistry): Consolidated salary Rs.24000/- per month
• PGT (English): Consolidated salary Rs.24000/- per month

Selection Process

Candidate will be selected on the basis of higher qualifications, teaching/working experience in English medium public Schools especially Sainik Schools, proficiency in spoken English, ICT applications, games as well as in co-curricular activities.
