SBI PO: Career Prospects and Growth

    State Bank of India (SBI) is the leading public sector bank in the country with over 13000+ branches all across the country and over 2 lakh people working at various posts. It is a bank which attracts most of the banking aspirants who want to join the public sector bank. It is due to the growth and pay perks received by the employees once. SBI Probationary Officer post is the entry level officer grade post, for which the aspirants try their best in the entrance examinations.     The fact that SBI has a significant presence in the international forum with branches in over 34 countries, it provides opportunity for officers in India to be posted on offshore branches depending on their performance and skills. With faster promotion rates, the bank offers foreign postings to the deserving candidates as per requirement. With over 200 foreign branches/offices; SBI has the largest network of international branches among public sector banks in the country.
