SBI PO Exam Pattern 2025
The SBI PO examination consists of a three-stage selection procedure, i.e., prelims, mains and interview. The candidates who successfully clear the preliminary examination will be called for the mains examination and so on. The prelims examination will consist of subjects such as quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and the English language. The total marks that will be allotted to the prelims examination are 100 and the duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.
SBI PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2025
The SBI PO Prelims exam will be conducted for the duration of 60 minutes and it will contain a total of 100 marks. The questions will be asked from subjects such as English language, reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude.
- Total Duration: 60 min & Total Questions: 100
- There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
- Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by SBI.
- There will be no sectional cut-off in the preliminary examination.

SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The candidates who successfully clear the prelims examination will be called for the online mains examination. The duration of the online main examination is 3 hours and 30 minutes and the marks obtained in the online main examination only will be considered for shortlisting for interviews and also for final merit listing. The SBI PO mains examination will consist of questions such as reasoning and computer aptitude, general economy/banking awareness, the English language, and data interpretation and analysis.
- Total Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes & Total Questions: 170
- The examination will be both objective and subjective.
- There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

SBI PO Group Discussion and Interview 2025
The final stage of the SBI PO examination is a group discussion and interview, which will consist of a psychometric test, a group exercise and a personal interview.
The bank will conduct a psychometric test for personality profiling of those candidates who will be shortlisted for the final phase. Findings of the test may be placed before the interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates. Check the structure below.
