SSC CGL 2016 Tier 1 Exam postponed by SSC on 18 April 2016. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notice stating the change in date of Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016 i.e., SSC CGL Exam 2016 (Tier I). The SSC CGL Exam was scheduled to be held on 08 May 2016 and 22 May 2016 which is now postponed.
As per the latest update, the Combined Graduate Level Examination 2016 Tier I would now be held in the month of August 2016. The date is yet to be announced and the same would be hosted on the Commission’s website i.e., http://ssc.nic.in/ shortly.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL Exam) for recruitment to the posts under Central Civil which are: Assistant / Inspector /SI / Divisional Accountant /Statistical Officer/ Auditor/Accountant/Junior Accountant /UDC / Tax Assistant / Compiler.
The recruitment of the said posts is done in departments of Central Secretariat Service / Central Vigilance Commission / Intelligence Bureau / Ministry of Railways / Ministry of External Affairs / Ministry of Defence / CBI and a few other Ministries / Departments / Organizations of the Central Govt. To appear for SSC CGL Exam, Graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria.
