SSC Constable (GD) Recruitment 2016 Medical Exam Dates Announced

Staff selection commission announced the dates for the SSC Constable (GD) Medical Examination. SSC will be conducting Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME) for recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) in various paramilitary forces.

SSC conducted Constable (GD) recruitment 2016 examination on 04 October 2015 and re examination on 22 November 2016 for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF & Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles. SSC Constable (GD) 2016 results were declared on 14 March 2016. Candidates shortlisted for Medical Examination can download their Admit Card from the Official Website www.ssc.nic.in . 

SSC conducts Medical Examination for candidates to ensure their fitness for the service ability in extreme climatic conditions. As per the medical fitness guidelines, candidates should not have knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. They must be in good mental and physical health for duties in all places including in high altitude and be fit to serve in border areas with 15 extreme climatic conditions and must be free from any defect likely to interfere with efficient performance of the duties.
