Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct Tier 2 exam of CGL 2016 from 30 November till 02 December. The exam will comprise of four papers for Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics and General Studies (Finance and Economics) subjects.

While Paper 1 and 2 will be held on 30 November & 01 December, the remaining papers will be held on 02 December. Candidates will be allowed 02 hours for each of the paper (02 hours and 40 minutes for VH and Cerebral Palsy candidates).

Only those candidates who have qualified the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 examination. SSC CGL Tier 1 result was declared on 08 November.

About SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam: SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is a part of the selection process held by SSC for selection of graduates. The examination is held for those candidates who qualify the first round of examination (CGL Tier 1 exam).

CGL Tier 1 exam was held from 27 August till 11 September. The examination was conducted at about 415 exam centres in 96 cities across the country. The examination was conducted in 43 batches. Though 38 lakh had registered for the exam, only 15 lakh had appeared for it. The Commission had conducted re-examination for candidates of Srinagar on 25 September.
