2. Fifteenth Finance Commission Grants released for Haryana, Tripura and Mizoram
The Union Government has released the Fifteenth Finance Commission (XV FC) Grants during the financial year 2024–25, for the Rural Local Bodies (RLBs) of Haryana, Tripura and Mizoram.
- Panchayati Raj Institutions ( PRIs)/ RLBs of Haryana have been given Untied grants amounting to Rs.194.867 crores as part of the 1st installment.
- Rural Local Bodies in Tripura, the 1st installment of Untied grants amounting to Rs.31.40 crores and 1st installment of Tied grants amounting to Rs.47.10 crores has been released.
- The XV FC has released funds for PRIs/RLBs of Mizoram, being the 2nd installment of Untied grants of the financial year 2022–23, amounting to Rs.14.20 crores and 2nd installment of Tied grants of the financial year 2022–23 amounting to Rs.21.30 crores.
- The Fifteenth Finance Commission (XV FC) Grants aim at strengthening rural local self-governance by empowering PRIs / RLBs.
3. World Travel Market (WTM), London 5-7 November 2024
The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is participating at World Travel Market (WTM) London, being held from 5th – 7th November, 2024 at Excel London.

4.NITI Aayog Launched ‘Jal Utsav’
Jal Utsav is being implemented in 20 Aspirational Districts/Blocks between November 6-24, 2024 in partnership with National Jal Jeevan Mission, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.
- The Festival being launched across 20 states, envisages community participation in preservation and protection of water resources.

5. IREUK Titanium Limited: Indo-Kazakh joint venture company (JVC)
IREL (India) Limited, (IREL) under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Govt. of India and Ust-Kamenogorsk Titanium and Magnesium Plant JSC, (UKTMP JSC) Kazakhstan have signed an agreement to establish Indo-Kazakh joint venture company (JVC) namely- IREUK Titanium Limited.
- IREUK Titanium Limited will workd for production of Ti Slag in India
- The JVC will act as a catalyst in developing Titanium value chain in the State of Odisha.
- UKTMP JSC, Kazakhstan is one of the world's largest vertically integrated titanium producers from raw material extraction to high value-added products that includes titanium sponge and ingots.
- The joint venture company envisages to synergize the strength of the respective companies by establishing a plant in the titanium value chain for producing Titanium Slag by utilizing IREL’s Ilmenite from Odisha.
