Q: Hello sir, I wish to take the UGC NET December 2012, please let me know how do I have to apply for the same?
A: The application for the UGC NET December 2012 needs to be sent ONLINE before 16 November 2012. The candidates will be first required to download the Bank Challan Performa from the UGC website and then deposit the requisite test fee in any branch of State Bank of India along with the bank charges which is of Rs 20.
Before applying Online, the candidates must also possess
- Scanned passport (pp) size photograph in JPEG format of less than 300 kb
- Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt)
Candidates who wish to seek admission to the Test must apply online on the website www.ugcnetonline.in
After the successful submission, the candidate should take the printout of online Application Form (one copy), Attendance Slip (one copy) and Admission Card (one copy) on separate A-4 size papers.
The candidates should retain the print out of online Admission card with them and bring it on the day of examination after affixing the identical passport size photograph. The photograph must be signed across by the candidate after affixing, so that a part of the signature spreads over the Admit Card. Besides, it should be duly attested by the Head of the University Department/ Principal of the College/ class-I Gazetted officer. Candidates also need to note that applications received after 22 November 2012 at the NET Coordinating Universities/Colleges will not be considered.
Also, the application (consisting of one copy of printout of online application form and one copy of Attendance Slip) along with required documents must reach the Registrar/Principal of the Coordinating University/College on or before 22 November 2012. The envelope containing the Application Form should be super scribed “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP, DECEMBER, 2012”.
