The University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) has released the e-certificates and JRF award letters for December 2023 on its official website. The National Testing Agency conducted the UGC NET Dec 2023 exam for 83 subjects from December 6 to 14 and 19, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their UGC NET e-certificates and JRF award letters through UMANG and DigiLocker applications.
A total of 9,45,872 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 6,95,928 candidates appeared for the UGC NET exam conducted over 8 days in 15 shifts across 292 cities.
Aspirants who have qualified for the JRF award are eligible to pursue research in their post-graduation subject or a related field and are also eligible for Assistant Professor roles. They will also be eligible to receive UGC fellowships under various schemes.
UGC NET Dec 2023 Certificate Out
NTA has activated the download links for UGC NET E-Certificate and JRF Award Letter on the official websites, ugcnet.nta.ac.in and ugcnet.ntaonline.in. Successful candidates can obtain their certificates to progress to the next stage. Those awarded the JRF can pursue research in their respective fields, while UGC NET qualifiers can commence their PhD or apply for lecturer positions.
The UGC NET e-certificate will remain valid for three years from the issuance date of the award letter. However, for candidates already pursuing their PhD, the fellowship's commencement date will be either the UGC NET Dec result declaration date or their joining date, whichever is later.
