UGC on 18 April 2013 released list of Indian Scholars for Long Term/ Short Term visit to Hungary under Indo-Hungarian Educational Exchange Programme 2013. A total of 21 teachers/ scholars were considered for continuing joint research programmes, taking part at seminars, giving lectures in Hungary of which 12 scholars will go for Long Term visit and 9 Scholars will go for Short Term visit.
The selected candidates are required to send online application to Hungarian Scholarship Board website by 25 April 2013. Besides, to obtain the political clearance from Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, Candidates are required to send tentative dates to the UGC for visiting Hungary.
The short term visit will be for up to 141 days and Long-term visits will be for up to 15 months. Under the Education Exchange Programme, the candidates will be paid scholarship (as per their educational qualification) and financial provisions like scholarship, accommodation, health insurance and inland travel costs.
