UP School Holiday List 2024: The Good news for school students and teachers of Uttar Pradesh Board, as the official holiday calendar of 2024 has been released by the Uttar Pradesh government. According to this new holiday, schools will remain closed for around 118± days in 2024 and schools will be open for 233 days to complete the academic syllabus 2024-25. Festival holidays, weekends and extended summer holidays are outlined in the calendar announced by the Director of Secondary Education. These leaves will be approved by the Principal. There will be a total of 118 days of holidays in a year including summer holidays, Sundays and other holidays. Board exams will be conducted for 15 days only.

The school principal can grant three holidays at his discretion but will have to inform the DIOS. There will be two days holiday on Holi and three days holiday on Diwali including Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.

UP School Winter Vacation 2024-25

The Haryana winter vacations for junior and senior classes will probably start from the last of December and will extend for maximum two weeks. Last year the vacations were extended till Jnaury 27 due to cold waves. The latest information will be updated here.

UP School Holiday Calendar 2024-2025

Here is a list of all the holidays that UP students will be celebrating in 2024. In 2024, there will be 114 school holidays for students. Fifty-three of the remaining working days have been used for academic activities, and fifteen of those days have been devoted to exams. The summer break will be for a total of 41 days, beginning on May 21 and ending on June 30. The whole list is provided below.
