UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) issued admit card for Male/ Female Physical Exam 2016 for recruitment to 34716 posts of Constable. Out of 34716 Posts, 28916 Posts are reserved for Male Candidates and 5800 Posts are reserved for Female Candidates.
Applications were invited from the eligible candidates to fill up the vacancies under the pay scale of Rs. Rs. 5200-20,200 Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-. The notification was issued by UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav due to shortage of Constables in Uttar Pradesh and intelligence reports inputs signifying a looming al-Qaeda and IS threat, the Uttar Pradesh.
Candidates can download the admit card from the official website i.e., http://uppbpb.gov.in/ by using heir registration number and date of birth.

There would be no written exam for recruitment to the posts of Constable however; candidates have to go through the Physical Exam. The selection criterion is on the basis of marks scored in class 10th and 12th and on the basis of Physical Exam.
