UPSC has released the notification for the Combined Defence Services Examination I 2018 (CDS Exam I 2018). UPSC CDS 2018 Exam I is held for recruiting candidates for course conducted by Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air force Academy and Officers training Academy. Applications are invited from eligible candidates; the last date of application is 4 December 2017 (06 PM).
A total 414 vacancies notified to be filled through UPSC CDS Exam (I) 2018. Out of these 100 vacancies are at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun for 146 th(DE) Course commencing in January, 2019, 45 vacancies at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala for the Course commencing in January, 2019 Executive General Service), 32 vacancies at Air Force Academy, Hyderabad—(Pre-Flying) for Training Course commencing in February, 2019, 225 vacancies at Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras) for 109th SSC (Men) Course (NT) commencing in April, 2019 and 12 vacancies at Officers Training Academy, Chennai for 23rd SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in April, 2019.
Graduates candidates are eligible to apply for these vacancies at different defence training insitutions and online application is open till 04 December at the official website of the UPSC, www.upsconline.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria for UPSC CDS Exam I 2018
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Candidates applying for I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy should have Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
Candidates applying for Indian Naval Academy should have Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
Candidates applying for Air Force Academy should have Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
