Union Public Service Commission invited application for Civil Services (Preliminary Examination) Examination, 2013. The Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts held by the Union Public Service Commission in accordance with the Rules published by the Department of Personnel & Training in the Gazette of India Extraordinary. The candidates eligible for the post are required to apply through format available before 4 April 2013.

Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
The candidate applying for the examination should be between the age 21 years and 30 years on August 2013. He/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1983.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must possess a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.
Application Fee
The candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by Cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/ State Bank of Bikaner& Jaipur/Sate Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. The candidates belonging to Female/SC/ST/PH are exempted from payment of fee.
