Union Public Service Commission announced final result of the Indian Forest Service Exam 2013 (IFS 2013). The written examination for the same was conducted in the month of October, 2013 and the Personality Test in December, 2013.
A total of 85 candidates, including 29 belonging to Other Backward Classes, 13 to the Scheduled Castes, 06 to the Scheduled Tribes have qualified the complete recruitment process and found eligible for appointment to the Indian Forest Service.
This is the first time when, UPSC has introduced the Indian Forest Services (Preliminary) Exam.
