VITEEE-2015: Phase-1 counselling dates declared

    The dates for the first round of VITEEE-2015 counselling have been declared by the VIT University. VITEEE-2015 exam will held from April 8th to 19th, 2015 but the University has already released the dates, on which particular rank holders have to report. The due dates for first phase of counselling are as below:

    Note: Candidates are requested to book the Train / Flight tickets in advance to participate in the VITEEE Counselling either in Vellore Campus / Chennai Campus

    VITEEE is conducted every year by the VIT University for admission to it's undergraduate engineering programme (B. Tech.). Over 1, 93, 000 appeared for the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) in 2014. The institution offers 19 Undergraduate, 34 Post graduate, 2 Integrated and 4 Research Programmes.
    VITEEE-2015 will be held in the online mode. Candidates will have 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes) to write the paper. There will be three sections in the exam of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each section will carry 40 questions. Hence, in total, there will be 120 questions in the exam. Also, all of them will be of multiple choice type and candidates will have to attempt all. For marking correction option, 1 mark will be allocated to the candidates.
