Modi 3.0 is celebrating its 100-day anniversary on September 17. The BJP, along with various ministries and departments, has planned extensive celebrations for the NDA government's 100 days in office. By chance, this day also happened to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 74th birthday.
In the first 100 days of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the central government made several key decisions. However, this time marked the first when PM Modi's government did not secure a clear majority of 272+ seats. The absence of a full majority was reflected in some of the policy reversals the government had to make.

17th Installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi
One of the first actions taken by the Modi administration after taking office in June of this year was the distribution of Rs 20,000 crore to 9.3 crore farmers as part of the 17th installment of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi.
The government claims that 12.33 lakh farmers have received payments totaling Rs 3 lakh crore.
3 Lakh Crore for Infrastructure
In the first 100 days of PM Modi's government, with "Sabka Vikas" (development for all) as a key focus, projects worth Rs 3 lakh crore were approved. The central government prioritized roads, railways, ports, and airways in its third tenure. Among these was the approval of the Wadhavan Mega Port in Maharashtra, costing Rs 76,200 crore, and expected to rank among the top 10 ports globally.
Additionally, the government sanctioned the construction or upgrade of 62,500 kilometers of roads and bridges, aimed at connecting 25,000 villages, with central aid of Rs 49,000 crore.
8 New Railway Line Projects
The government also approved eight National High-Speed Road Corridor Projects totaling 936 kilometers in length, improving India's road network with an investment of Rs 50,600 crore, and laying the groundwork for the Shinkhun-La Tunnel, which will connect Ladakh with Himachal Pradesh.
The government also approved 8 new railway line projects for speedier and more convenient travel by train, thus generating 4.42 crore man-days of employment.
Increase in MSP for Kharif Crops
In addition, the government raised the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Kharif crops for 2024–2025. According to the government, this development has helped about 12 crore farmers by Rs 2 lakh crore. The Modi government also approved seven significant programs totaling Rs 14,200 crore, as well as the Polavaram Irrigation Project in Andhra Pradesh, with an allocation of Rs 12,100 crore.
Policies for Middle Class
In the first 100 days of the Modi 3.0 government, the income tax slab that was previously set at Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh was increased to Rs 3 lakh to Rs 7 lakh. For salaried workers who choose the new tax regime, the standard deduction is raised from Rs 50,000 to Rs 75,000, and the family pension exemption limit is raised to Rs 25,000. Additionally, the government introduced the Unified Pension Scheme, which entitles workers with 25 years of service to a pension equal to 50% of their average basic pay.
International Airport at Varanasi
The government approved developing the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, along with new civil terminals at Bagdogra in West Bengal and Bihta in Bihar. It also cleared the construction of new airstrips at Agatti and Minicoy in Lakshadweep.
Additionally, the Modi government also approved the expansion of Phase 3 of the Bangalore Metro, Pune Metro, and the Thane Integral Ring Metro Rail Project.
