About Narendra Modi
• He is the 14th and current Chief Minister of Gujarat state in India.
• He was a key strategist for the success of BJP in 1995 and 1998 Gujarat state election campaigns.
• He first became chief minister of Gujarat in October 2001, being promoted to the office upon the resignation of his predecessor, Keshubhai Patel.
• He served as second time Chief minister of Gujarat from 2002-2007.
• He served as third time Chief minister of Gujarat from 2007-2012.
• He was reelected as for the fourth time as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2012.
• In July 2007, he became the longest-serving Chief Minister in Gujarat's history when he had continued to remain in power for 2063 days continuously.
