Chandrayaan-2 launch Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to twitter to congratulate ISRO after successful launch of Chandrayaan-2. PM Modi has written back to back four tweets to congratulate ISRO and the nation. He said that launch of Chandrayaan-2 is an immense pround for every Indian.
PM Modi said in his tweet that Chandrayaan-2 is special for India and ISRO as it will explore untouched south pole region of the Moon. In another tweet, he said that the launch of Chandrayaan2 illustrates the prowess of our scientists and the determination of 130 crore Indians to scale new frontiers of science.
ISRO has successfully launched India's second Moon mission by launch vehicle GSLV-Mk-III M-I. ISRO has announced that launch vehicle has successfully injected Chandrayaan-2 into Earth's orbit. Now, spacecraft will spend 23 days in Earth orbit, before making its journey to the Moon. If India touches the Moon, it will become fourth nation in the world. Chandrayaan-2 will answer those questions that are unexplored yet.
Chandrayaan-2, India’s much anticipated Moon mission has been launched by ISRO. It was aborted on July 15 due to a technical snag. The mission was called off about an hour before its final lift-off, supposedly due to lack of pressure in the helium tanks of the rocket Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle-Mark III (GSLV-Mk III).
