The 8th International Ancient Arts Festival and Seminar was organised in New Delhi by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in collaboration with 'Rays of Wisdom Society' and Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The special guest of the inaugural session of the conference, Dr. Sachchidanand Joshi was there.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recently launched the state's first double-decker electric bus in the capital Lucknow. The CM launched it during the Aakanksha Haat program organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. The Chief Minister has also announced a 50 per cent discount on tickets for women in this double-decker electric bus service.

3. (a) Justice Sanjiv Khanna

Justice Sanjiv Khanna has been sworn in as the 51st Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. On Monday, November 11, he was sworn in by President Draupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Justice Sanjiv Khanna was the second most senior judge in the Supreme Court, he replaced former Chief Justice DY Chandrachud. Let us inform you that Justice Chandrachud retired from his post on November 10, he was in this post since November 9, 2022.

Famous actor Sonu Sood has been appointed as the brand ambassador and advisor for Thailand Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand has officially awarded him the title of "Honorary Tourism Advisor".

National Education Day is celebrated every year on 11 November to honour the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first Education Minister of independent India. The day commemorates his significant contributions in promoting primary and secondary education in the country as well as in advancing scientific knowledge. He became the youngest President of the Indian National Congress in the year 1923 at the age of 35.

Tayyib Ikram has been elected as the President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) for the second consecutive term. Ikram secured 79 out of 126 votes at the 49th FIH Congress in Muscat, Oman, while his rival Marc Caudron of Belgium got 47 votes.
