The “Ab Koi Bahana Nahi” campaign has been launched in collaboration with UN Women. It was organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Rural Development. This campaign has started with the aim of eliminating gender-based violence.

It was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where a total of 182 players were bought. A total of 577 players were included in the IPL 2025 auction. Rishabh Pant has become the most expensive player in IPL history, he was bought by the Lucknow team. This time a total of 395 players remained unsold. While Venkatesh Iyer became the most expensive all-rounder, he was bought by KKR for ₹ 23.75 crores.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who hails from Samastipur in Bihar, has made headlines after being bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.10 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. Vaibhav has become the youngest player to be signed in the IPL auction.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was honoured with the Dr. by the Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM) in Maryland, USA. Awarded the Martin Luther King Jr. Global Peace Award. He was given this award for minority upliftment. AIAM is a newly formed NGO that works for the welfare of Indian American minority communities.

Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Dinesh Bhatia has recently been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Brazil. A 1992-batch IFS officer, Bhatia has extensive diplomatic experience, having served in important roles both in India and abroad. The Ministry of External Affairs has announced this on November 25, 2024.
