Para athlete Preeti Pal has become the first Indian female athlete to win two medals in track and field events at either the Paralympics or the Olympics. Preeti Pal won the bronze medal in the 200m T35 race at the Paris Paralympics 2024. India has won a total of seven medals in the current Paris Paralympics with one gold medal, two silver and four bronze medals.
