EPFO launches portal for pensioners

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation has launched a new portal for pensioners, through which EPFO pensioners would be able to the details of pension-related information. The portal will assist users with details such as pension payment order number, payment order details, passbook information and other related information.

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) on March 27, 2018 launched a new portal for pensioners, through which EPFO pensioners would be able to the details of pension-related information.

Key Highlights

• The portal will assist users with details such as pension payment order number, payment order details, passbook information and other related information such as date of credit of pension and submission of pensioner’s life certificate.

• It will also assist the pensioners to know the status of their life certificate, in case of non-submission/rejection of life certificate of the pensioners.

• It will also provide the users with the details and reason in case of stoppage of pension.

 

Besides this, EPFO launched enhanced ‘Track eKYC’ facility for the convenience of members to enable them to check the status of Aadhaar seeded against their Universal Account Number (UAN) and figure out the specific mismatch details.

While using the facility, the users will have to provide their UAN number, then click the ‘Track eKYC’ button and then the exact status of their UAN will be displayed on the screen. The facility has been made available at EPFO’s website www.epfindia.gov.in.
