Ghalib & His Times by Ghalib Institute
Book entitled Ghalib & His Times was released by the Vice President of India M. Hamid Ansari on 23 August 2013 at a function organised in New Delhi. The book has been brought out by the Ghalib Institute.
The book portrays history through photographs and is a very valuable book for all to know the contemporary history.
About Ghalib Institute
Ghalib Institute was established in the year 1969 at New Delhi. Since establishment, the institute has endeavored to acquire and preserve illustrations about Ghalib’s life and times and his eminent contemporaries.
The Ghalib Institute is housed in the Aiwan-e-Ghalib and has had a two-pronged approach in popularising and promoting Ghalib's works in the literary spheres as well as in the cultural arena. The Institute publishes the well-known six-month research journal Ghalib Nama and a large number of research publications on Ghalib and his other eminent contemporaries. The library of the Institute contains rare manuscripts and important publications.
