Haryana Election Results 2019 will be revealed soon after the Election Commission finishes the counting of votes. The recent trends developing in Haryana assembly polls are surprising enough; Congress and BJP are locked in a close fight to claim the majority in the 90-seat Haryana Assembly. While the Bhartiya Janata Party is struggling hard to win a majority; the Congress seems to make a surprise comeback in the state. As per the votes counted so far, BJP is leading in 39 seats, failing to fulfil the “75-seats” target of CM Manohar Lal Khattar and Congress displays a strong presence in the state by leading in 30 seats.

Maharashtra - Haryana Election Results 2019 Live Updates: After 6 hours of counting for Assembly Election Results 2019, it is still not clear who will form the government in Haryana. As per the latest Election Commission Data, Haryana is headed for a nail-biter with BJP leading on 39 and Congress expected to win 32 seats. Dushyant Chautala’s JJP is leading on 10 seats, which is expected to be the king-maker, is still holding cards close to his chest as to which way will it swing. In the meanwhile, Congress leadership has called upon JJJP, INLD and others to join hands against BJP to form the government.

In Maharashtra, BJP-Sena alliance is expected to create history by being the first non-Congress alliance to return to power for a 2nd consecutive term. Currently, BJP is leading on 96 seats while Shiv Sena is leading on 59 seats taking the total to 155 mark. On the other hand, Congress-NCP alliance is leading on 106 seats with Sharad Pawar’s NCP leading on 56 seats while Congress leading on 44.

UP, Bihar, Kerala, MP, Gujarat ByPoll Results 2019: List of winners

Congress party has won three seats in Punjab while Shiromani Akali Dal is leading on one seat. Experts believe that latest results of ByPolls  Elections 2019 will bring some strength in the congress party. The party has showcased good comeback in many parts of the country.

Total 1,169 candidates, including 105 women, are contesting in the Haryana polls from prominent parties like Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress, Jannayak Janta Party and Indian National Lok Dal. The BJP faces a tough fight from the Congress and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), the Dushyant Chautala-led that is the faction of INLD formed after the dispute between the party members in December 2019.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress have fielded 90 candidates each, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) fielded 87 candidates, 81 from Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), 4 are from CPI, 7 are from CPM, 1 from NCP, 375 are Independents and 434 are in the fray.

10 per cent of the total contesting candidates face criminal cases

After examining all the affidavits filed by the contesting candidates, the Association of Democratic Reforms revealed that the 10 per cent of the 1,169 candidates are facing trials in the criminal cases registered against them. A total of 117 political candidates from Haryana have been named in criminal cases. Of these 117 candidates, 70 have serious criminal cases registered against them. This list is led by Congress with 13 candidates linked with serious criminal cases and BJP follows next with 12 such candidates.

Target set by Bhartiya Janata Party

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, BJP candidates, looks forward to win 75 of 90 assembly seats.

Haryana Assembly Election 2014

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) won the Haryana Assembly Election 2014 with 47 seats with a vote share of over 33 per cent, while the Congress got 15 with a vote share of only 20 per cent. On the other hand, the Regional party Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) won in 19 constituencies.
