Realty giant Housing.com on 18 October 2015 appointed Mani Rangarajan as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The appointment was made to strengthen its senior management team.
Rangarajan holds over 20 years of experience and has successfully played executive level roles in companies such as Yahoo! and Citigroup. He also played vital roles in many Silicon Valley start-up companies, like Boku, Kosmix and Media Boost.
Rangarajan obtained an MBA degree from the Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also received a post graduate management diploma from IIM Calcutta and is also a Cost & Works Accountant.
Housing.com is a Mumbai-based real estate search portal, which was founded by a group of 12 students from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in June 2012. The website allows the users to search for housing based on location, number of rooms, budgets and various other filters.
Since 2012, the company has raised four rounds of funding. It fetched a funding of 2.5 million US dollars in Series A funding from Nexus Venture Partners in June 2013.
