Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday introduced a new digital platform called Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR) under the Startup India programme.
The main aim of this platform is to bring together various players in the startup community, such as startups, investors, mentors, service providers, and government organizations, to connect, share ideas, and grow together.
What is ‘BHASKAR’ Platform?
The 'BHASKAR' platform aims to connect startups, investors (including institutional investors), mentors, and students by allowing them to register and engage with each other. It will promote collaboration and interaction across various stakeholders, while also supporting and encouraging unicorns among emerging startups.
The platform will facilitate data sharing, foster participation, and drive innovation within the startup ecosystem. With plans for additional features and enhanced technology, the 'BHASKAR' portal will soon be launched to further boost the growth and success of startups.
This portal will enable the world to acknowledge the curiosity of Indian brains and help establish the brand that startup India ought to be today.
